But nothing changed and it was the purest Déja vu. Again we ordered an aperitif, here the waiter was still attentive. The main dish was excellently prepared and very appealing, really great. The excellent cuisine is clearly the strength of the Hogalounge. We had duck, which was perfectly prepared, the sauce was also excellent. The plates are garnished each time with something special, this time among other things with fried sweet potato slices. Unfortunately we had to take our food sitting in front of empty aperitif glasses, because we were largely ignored by the service for a long time. Until we managed to catch the waiter's attention, we had already finished our food. We managed to get more drinks only with some effort. In a restaurant of this price class, I simply expect the waiter to ask himself whether further drinks or wine are desired for food after the aperitif, because you go to the restaurant to have a nice evening and have a quiet chat and not to keep an eye out for the waiter and get around. Empty glasses at the guest are simply ignored here also from a sales point of view this behavior is a mystery to me. By the way, the restaurant was not booked and the waiters did not make a revised impression. Only shortly before the payment we were called a flappy “With you no everything fits?” one time in passing. Both beverages and menus were taken back immediately after ordering, so that the selection of cocktails or dessert fell flat, as nothing like that was offered. Conclusion: Just a pity, the food is incredibly good, the ambiance chic, only unfortunately the service cannot withstand this level. Please, dear Hogalounge, we would like to try something more often from your delicious cuisine.

I had a vegetarian dish (Gemüsecurry), which was completely overpriced at 13EUR: Very much rice-cococolate with a few vegetable bowls. I left half back. For people who do not like to eat steaks and liver, the selection is completely disappointing: There is only a selection of a few foods, two of them completely boring vegetarian dishes. I do not recommend this restaurant and will certainly never come again.

We have eate... read more The restaurant has a kitchen doe open and enjoyable seating with a pitch on the tables. The diets are fixed and friendly. The menu small, but fine. We have eaten: pea rags with Beluga lenses (very good), pumpkin creams and Avovadocarpaccio (very good). Main dishes: Origional Wienerschnitzel , Wildgullasch , bovine fillet with very good fried shrimps. Everything was good to very good, except for the backs. This of taste very good, but portion poor. (2 x 3 cm narrow strips and for 26 € significantly tooi expensive. Dessert wary chocolate cake was serh quickly finished (normally this takes up to 20 minutes, here in 5 minutes, strange). Cake was warm but crumbles were not liquid. Taste very good. I've already made a better one here.
