Very friendly welcome and service, my room on the 2nd floor new and very clean. Breakfast plentiful selection.

Under all these sheds. Can't be

Does anyone know Aue as a culinary recommendation? No? Then it should change quickly! More by chance I met the family house's boy chef. Here he gave only a small sample of his skills and so we went on the way. After all, there has been the house since 1663, and so it also breathes nostalgia step by step. An oasis of gourmet cuisine was created here with much enthusiasm, love for craftsmanship and for the guest. In the restaurant and the whole house you will find a traditional craftsmanship, many carvings, magnificent wooden ceilings, stained windows, wooden decoration, matching chandeliers, carved lights and and and. There is also a house brewery with correspondingly rustic premises and a collection of well 4000 beekeepers of different periods. But back to Essence. We combined the visit with the menu of cooking classes, which is undoubtedly absolutely tempting. Here you will find the good old school, perfectly covered tables, fabric napkins, a rose on the table, candlelight. ... The nice young staff and modern interpreters arrived in modern times. Now we started a greeting from the kitchen. 6 small things as if there were various salts, butter, olive oil, delicious bread.... We had to be careful not to drink too much. Surprisingly, the real greeting came from the kitchen. Nicely dressed a piece of delicate Charry on topinambur and sweet potato. Optical and tastefully perfect. A very harmonious Pinot Blanc from Proschwitz winery. We simply fell and were worn from the equipment to the gearbox with wonderful pleasures further through the evening. The Carpacchio served as an appetizer from the calf fillet with garden herbs, parmesan and pine nuts. Tasteful fresh salad, apparently only cut, on it leave cheese, a dream. Carpacchio is fresh, with some freshly ground pepper. Excellent. As a seabed intercourse, a foam of curry and lemongrass with baked lobster. Who doesn't have the water in his mouth? Who loves soups like me finds one in perfection. Nothing falsifies, but brought the optimum out of the ingredients. After such a taste came a sorbet, poured with champagne, literally melting on the tongue. As a main dish we were served in Burgund's tasty oxen cheek with onion jam, potato march and Tyrolean bacon. The inclined reader will imagine. Great. No matter how to combine it, every bite pleasure. The potato has slightly tampered, the sauce strong, the oxenback fell on the palate.... A positive surprise then also the dessert. Decorated with passion fruit and honey. The first spoon an experience. I expected something sweet, but no, something sweet. After the first surprise, the taste was more and more. Now saty, satisfied and inner grinning, what there are for beautiful moments in life, the house put on it and pampered us with tastefully different minichocokes. You don't know Aue? Dear readers, then it will be time to descend in the Blue Angel and enjoy the kitchen! And another thing: Breakfast is an all-round experience!

A good hotel, a beer and a restaurant. The hotel rooms. It's a little overstated.

105 minutes in Aue, what can you do? Much! I now have about 80 minutes to the departure of my train, was previously served very well in a café and flew over the nearby weekly market. Actually, my plan is to visit the city centre of Lotter's economy without detours. However, the opening hours do not correspond to the schedule, as the train from Chemnitz arrives at the station Aue at the time 10:24 and opens the economy only at 11 a.m. No problem to bridge the time see above. The church clock on the market beats 11 on the directly opposite side of the road is a waitress in front of the hotel, on whose lower floor the brewhouse lies, with the cover of the terrace. Then it can go for me. When I was informed in advance, Lotter's economy is one of the smallest inns in Saxony, which was commissioned here 15 years ago at the Hotel Blauer Engel and has since developed very well. By the way, the name does not mean to rush into the lottery life through unbridled beer enjoyment, there was never a brew called Lotter in the house. The name is much more a reminder of an honourable citizen of the city of Aue. In the menu of the inn, called Lotters Allgemeine Zeitung, one can read that Melchior Lotter, born in Aue in 1470, went to Leipzig with 21 years as a book printer and housed the famous Martin Luther in his house in 1519. He had just published his 95 theses and had them printed by Lotter on posters, later Lotter Luther's translation of the New Testament. Although Lotter probably never returned to Aue, he died in Leipzig in 1549, he is considered one of the most famous sons of his birth town. Lotter's economy is now in honor of him. Back in the present, I cross the street and look at the Lotters Lounge, as the terrace in front of the house is called on the walkway. Comfortable looking rattan furniture, higher armchairs at matching tables, lower benches with padded backrests. Large parasols with LED lighting and radiators are safe to relax. At this lunch break I count on the disruption of the traffic noise of the busy road, no two dozen steps away. Besides, I want to look in. So in the pleasant joy. It's worth it! A very small guest house invites you with cosy original interior, tastefully furnished and enclosed on one side by the copper shiny brewing boilers. This is really not very big, no comparison with real breweries. However, all technical requirements for robing are sufficient. There are two more guests who want to eat lunch. The very friendly and attentive waitress advises knowledgeable, knows how to say something about beer and explains what is hidden behind the dishes that are unknown to strangers such as rags, pushers or sour sponges. I just came from the café, so I don't want to eat anything. Beer always goes, especially because I'm not motorized today. The decision is simple, first I have a little light. Comes fast, is neatly cooled and has a beautiful white foam crown. It tastes. 0.25 liters are an ankle warming exercise for the sunken beer drinker, so hardly 10 minutes later is the same amount of darkener before me. Besides these two beers, wheat is also constantly on offer. On special occasions the drink card also promises maib, Marchen, Stark and Christmas beer. Today would be a special occasion for me if I went by the train... Unfortunately, the specialties are not in stock. At the end of the day, I would like to end with 2 cl from Lotter's Bockbierlikör, which, however, remains interchangeable without a particularly remarkable property when compared with other similar flavor liqueurs. With more time and best a booked night you can experience many culinary delights here. In addition to beers there is a wide selection of interesting beer mixes, of course all mixed here on site from your own beer, plus many soft drinks, hot from coffee to cappuccino, espresso to a beautiful tea selection. Numerous spirits and cocktails complete the range of drinks. The menu, which is much more extensive in the evening than at noon, promises deliciously sounding dishes in which the hop drink unites in my mouth: I had only the choice. Do I feed lentil stew or bread soup? Or do you prefer a bowl and a baked camembert? As the main run of beer-typical such as cabbage, black beer sausage or even a pigeon sausage? Tempting but also Schnitzel Braumeister Art, Steak au four or the meat-rich Braupfanne. Maybe you can also create a potpourri of small things like lard bread, kiln potatoes, chops and hand cheese.... Hach, what is it hard to enjoy before it starts. There is hardly any room for a dessert, there is much to offer. I'm looking at the clock from my dreams and asking for the bill. The three drinks cost me 7 €, a manageable price for these local specialties. 8 Euro gets the waitress, I get her thanks and good wishes for a pleasant day. What I did not see was the beer museum of the economy with the largest beer collection in Saxony and the historic brewhouse cellar. At least two other reasons to change this. For the first impression I am very happy today and leave the friendly location. I have about 35 minutes to the train's departure. A little through the city. November 2017 With pre-order on a Monday evening you will get a nice table for 4 people. Operation perfect, careful. There's nothing to complain about. The pig Mett bread as an appetizer for 6 Euro is a RIESEN part. And delicious, fresh, attractive. Let's get in: Main dishes Kohlroulade, Rouladiger Fratzen, Lachs
