Contribute Feedback What NicoLouis Minnie likes about Luigi's Italian:
The centre is currently under renovation so there is a lot of building rubble and dirt on site. Apart from this the restaurant is well run, they serve great pizzas with proper buffalo mozzarella and there is also a wide selection of great pastas. Bathrooms are a bit neglected and hidden in the basement. View all feedback.

The staff at Danilo's (formerly Luigi's) are incredible and are the life force that make this little Italian gem a reality (namely, Isaac and Jackie). The current manager is absolutely questionable; but do not worry, the staff provide the most beautiful of dining experiences. And as a resident of the area, i could ALWAYS recommend the experience. Ian Buchanan Jr, resident in Riverclub. PS. greatest pizza.
Nice little hidden gem, beautiful sunset views if you sit on the deck on the western side not the verandah on the north, menu is well selected, fresh tasty and the wine list finely curated my Marc Letzler, (soon to be launched) , even though he already have a decent wine selection in store.
The best Italian in JHB! We were very pleasantly surprised. Service was good, ambiance was very nice and the food was superb. Better than La Tranita, Da Graziella and Trabella etc. Fresh, not stingy with pizza toppings or pasta sauce.
Holy smokes, can these guys make chicken livers! I thoroughly enjoyed my extra large starter portion with a tasty focaccia. If chicken livers are a craving for you as much as for me, try Danilo's.
