Visited Byblos a few times during the afternoon as well as a weekend night and love the chilled vibe of the place. However a few weekends back I went with a friend who came up to Jhb and it seems to have new owners. The place was now being marketed as a bar and had people thrown out, fights and private security called. View all feedback.
Yooo, I like this place, more kinda underground, nit VIP at all, but perfectly assumed. Crowd was interesting, music was a little too lourd to be able to have a conversation. Overall the plus are the vibe and the crowd
Never tasted the food, although nobody bothered you. Very chilled and relaxed vibe. Awesome music and service.
Their hubbly is one of the best and not pricey, I will definitely call again, especially considering the fact that I went there on Wednesday but it was vibey.

Very comfortable Hubbly lounge that does not disappoint. There is never a shortage of pipes or flavours, and the coal is replenished regularly so the entire hubbly is smoked to completion. The waiting staff is quick, friendly and trained. A very good night time vibe with kareoke on Thursdays.
