Was User at Platter a mag?
I added a fried egg to the creamy mushrooms, but it definitely wasn't necessary. The dish was delicious—rich and generous in size. The customer service was also excellent. View all feedback.

Loved this place and absolute kindness (of 3 bald men owners, where so brilliant in there service hospitality and excellent food service thank you

Such delicious mushroom meal plus outstanding view , will definitely come back again!

Beautiful setting, small but good selection of counter food. Friendly staff; prompt, efficient service.

I absolutely loved the seafood chowder! It was rich in flavor, packed with small mussels and vegetables, and had a wonderfully thick consistency that made it perfect for dipping with bread. The Turkish bread was incredibly soft and delicious—I could have eaten more of it! Although the seafood skewer was a bit on the small side, it complemented the chowder nicely. The restaurant's location provided a lovely view by the water, adding to the overall experience.

I visited Platters yesterday with a group of friends for brunch, and as always, we had a wonderful time. I tried the seafood chowder, which was quite good. My friends ordered salads and eggs, and I must admit I was envious of the Bacon and Scallop Salad they had. I’ll definitely be ordering that next time! Everything was super fresh! The coffee was excellent, the views were stunning, and for once, Auckland's annoying onshore wind was absent, allowing us to sit outside and watch the big ships coming and going. I really appreciate the friendly staff; it feels like a family-run establishment, and their dedication shows. Don't take everything you read from professional reviewers too seriously. Have you read all of that last reviewer’s comments? He seems to thrive on being the most dissatisfied diner out there. I've been to many of the restaurants he criticizes so harshly, and I often wonder if he’s been to the same places I have. Platters is a quality local café/restaurant; it may not strive for haute cuisine, but it excels at what it offers.
