What Ruth Thomson doesn't like about El Cupo Cantina:
We were there on friday night. The place was noisey and not really Cantina music. The Margaritas were very average served not in a Margarita glass and only half a salt and no lime. The fish was like cardboard and the salad out of a supermarket bag and there was no fresh lettuce.The Beef Quesadillas were done with a soft Taco and not toasted and need we say more. Great restaurant. Good food and personal table service. Friendly and informative staff about dishes and drinks. Nice atmosphere. Lively. I’m not from NZ and used to being served at the table and staff being engaged and friendly in what they are doing. I generally found this lacking in NZ at restaurants and cafes.
