What mrdom doesn't like about Jamal Take Away Food:
Auburn's somehow really expensive nowadays and Jamal is no exception. I can get better for less close to the city but more importantly, Jamal is 60% more expensive than Happiness in Fairfield and probably double Hammoud1. Their felafel is better than Hammoud1 but not a patch on Happiness crispy from the fresh frying but brown and bland inside. View all feedback.
The falafel at this restaurant is excellent. The outside is crispy and the inside is moist and flavorful. The service from the gentleman who served us was also very pleasant.
I tried the falafels at this restaurant and they were delicious and full of flavor. I ordered the wrap, which came with pickled vegetables, hummus, and chili sauce. The portions were good. In addition to the food, the restaurant also sells spices, grains, and pickles. I noticed they had Zaatar spice, which I was planning to buy elsewhere. After speaking with the staff, I decided to purchase it here because the ingredients look high quality with proper thyme and sumac.
Got the sausage plate $13) and added 6 falafel balls $6). So delicious everything tasted fresh and very generous portions
Excellent food and top-notch service. The menu options are great, the prices are unbeatable, and the service is fast. It's rare to find a restaurant like this nowadays.
Hands down the best Falafel's in Sydney! Everything including the hummus, Tahini and pickles are freshly made and delicious. Thanks Jamal!
