Have been coming here on and off for years, glad to say the quality hasn't changed.

I br... read more I was searching for a senior-friendly restaurant and found it here. The staff are welcoming, patient, and friendly, and the food and coffee were delicious. I brought my mom here for lunch and we both had a wonderful time.

We arrived at 3, and th... read more Charisma Cafe is a popular cafe choice for my family. I recently visited again for afternoon tea with a friend and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at 3, and the cafe was fairly quiet. Charisma has a variety of seating outside, inside near the counter, and inside in the back closer to the kitchens. We ordered a drink and slice of sponge cake and sat at the back, which feels a little more private. My slice of sponge cake was huge and was light and liberally iced with fresh cream and my hot chocolate came out in a large mug (also a decent size) however it could have been slightly hotter. All in all though, it lived up to expectations.Note On a number of previous occasions I have had their single serve ready made cottage pies and they are fantastic!

The cafe is very clean and the service is attentive. Prices are a bit high with pastries ranging from $6-$8 (with no sides), salads for $16-$20, lunch specials for $18-$22, and coffee for $3.90.
