I saw other diners eating what looked like the most incredible fish and chips I ever saw. New England clam chowdah was life changing.This from a Yankee. Place ain't huge. Nice outdoor area. Get there early to reserve a table especially if you are going end ofthe week.

Jon Shoo... read more Enjoying a relaxing and delicious meal for Lunch at the On The Deck Restaurant and Bar overlooking the water adjacent to the Atlantic Highlands Harbor. Jon Shook, who was one of Monoc's Legacy Paramedics from the mid 1980's, a friend since the mid1970's and Partner's from September 1, 2001 to December 2013. Kit and I were blessed to be able to enjoy wonderful conversationand delicious food for a couple hours at one of the most relaxing places in the area. Shirley Daniels Shook and Jon Shook havebeen good friends and with the turmoil of the past 2+ years with COVID, personal medical issues and busy schedules it has beenfar to long not visiting or talking. Looking forward to our next get together at the Pour House in Tintin Falls, N.J.

Located in the Atlantic Highlands, this place was perf... read more We were looking for a place to dine on the water at the Jersey Shore. The Deck seemed like a good choice. Located in the Atlantic Highlands, this place was perfect. The large outside deck overlooks the bay, and huge marina. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was perfect. I had the Crab cakes, and my wife the Fish and Chips, both were delicious. Will definitely be revisiting!
