What Indigo Brunson doesn't like about Old Homestead Steak House:
Pricey and *not* worth it. They offer cranberry walnut bread and onion poppy seed bread to start. While warm, the cranberry walnut bread was very dry. Their five onion (French onion) soup was bitter with a sharp aftertaste. The Filet was large and tender, which was nice, but they paired it with the saltiest hash brown imaginable. I had the burrata and the sea bass. The burrata was def good enough, but it was like they ran to Whole Foods and slapped it on a plate with some Costco beets. I happen to like Whole Foods and Costco

Old Homestead in NYC is known for being Axl Rose's favorite steak house and now I know why. Simply iconic says it all. Old Homestead is a New York City staple and it's second location in Atlantic City has all of the splendor of NYC. Literally the best steak I ever had. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and served over a rich hashbrown and a delectable glaze. I could visit here everytime I'm in AC. Just a wonderful dining experience.
