Additionally, the food was so good that I had to consciously remind myself to take a break to snap some photos. As someone with high blood pressure and on medication, I was pleasantly surprised that the salt in the dishes did not pose any issues for me. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience!

The food was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the fried chicken and the cornbread. They also have really good sweet tea, especially if you like it on the sweeter side. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Our waiter was extremely friendly and offered fantastic suggestions.

We arrived at the restaurant but didn’t want to wait for a party of seven, so we decided to place our order at their takeout counter. Let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it! Oh my goodness, everything – and I mean everything – was delicious. It felt like someone really put their heart and soul into this food, and it's clear they have a natural talent for cooking! Wow! We were recommended this spot while in town for an AAU basketball tournament by a friend, and I'm so glad we tried it. Everyone loved their meals, and everything was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back!

Eating was amazing! during a visit in the city for a few days, was under a list of black-famous restaurants in the opposite. I had the pulled pork sandwich with Mac cheese; normally I am picky about my Mac cheese, but that was right up with the recipe of my mama: can not recommend enough!

Me and my wife visit Atlantic City at least once a year. When we do, we try to check out some of the local restaurants to add to our list of favorites. Kelsey and Kim's Southern Café shot to the top of the list this year. I am a chef by trade and southern soul food is one of my specialties. Kelsey and Kim have one of the best Macaroni and Cheese recipes I have ever tasted outside of my own kitchen. I had that Mac-n-Cheese and cabbage along with my pork ribs and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich with candied yams and collard greens. Every single Item was 5-star, and the value was absolutely there based on the portions, even with the 50 dollar price tag. We added two desserts for 10 more bucks and they basically gave us two half cakes...both delicious. The portions were so big we ate the rest for lunch the next day. We felt the value was so great we returned the next night. The second night we tried the catfish nuggets as an appetizer and they were absolutely fantastic...they serve them with this excellent house dipping sauce. My wife had the pork chop and waffles this time around I I had the smothered pork chops with broccoli and more of that Mac-n-Cheese. Once again everything was 5-star and we couldn't come near finishing it all until the next day. Kelsey and Kim's is officially our favorite Atlantic City restaurant and we will be returning whenever we visit.
