Angelo's Fairmount Tavern

Came in about 430 for the 5 o'clock dinner service with my wife and was kindly greeted by the male and female bartenders behind the bar and asked if we would accompany them for dinner. They jotted us on the paper and asked us if we wanted a drink. They had no cocktail menu, but they had a decent wine list and a few handful of beer to choose. The dinner was opened immediately at 5 sharply, was quickly seated, depending on how they were served first they had made by the dinner guests of the bar. We had tomatoes and mozzarella seasonal appetizer, HUGE tomatoes! As if we questioned the size of tomatoes, the slices came, but they were absolutely amazing. House salad came next with homemade Italian dressing, which was also great. I had the chicken stable, perfect. Wife had the lumps crab and Portobello mushroom scampi, she said it was great. Peanut butter cheesecake and 5 layer chocolate cake for dessert, both good. Great experience over, really started our evening with a great dinner. Will try something new again.

We visited Atlantic City of NC and wanted to try Angelo’s after an old friend recommended it. We loved it absolutely! There were four of us and everyone had a great meal. From bread to dessert coffee and everything in between was delicious! Service was exceptional and server friendly. I would highly recommend Angelos Fairmount Tavern.

Shells red are the best with house red wine. Lobster Ravioli has a whole lobster tail above. I love this place.

Food and rooms were great. The staff was fantastic. They went beyond and beyond to make our event special. My guests shaved about how much they enjoyed the day. I highly recommend it.
