Was Anonym at Top Spice a mag?
It’s a gem! I discovered this restaurant by chance when I went to pick up an online order at a somewhat inconvenient retail store located in the same shopping complex. View all feedback.
What T V P dislikes about Top Spice:
While the ambiance was amazing, our table was barely served and we had to call the waiter for simple things like water, napkins, cutlery and so on. Also, the whole some of the food was amazing, the pad Thai was really bland and was just noddles as compared to what is advertised. I would highly recommend the Malay food though! View all feedback.
I just had an incredibly disappointing experience with Top Spice, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with their abysmal customer service. From the dry, flavorless pork to the complete lack of effort in rectifying their mistake, it was an evening of frustration and disappointment.Firstly, the pork dish I ordered was beyond disappointing. It was so dry and tasteless that I could hardly distinguish it from chicken. The lack of flavor was truly disheartening, leaving me questioning the quality of their ingredients and the competence of their kitchen staff.Hoping to find a solution and some form of compensation for the unpleasant food take-out experience, I decided to reach out to Top Spice via phone. Unfortunately, my interaction with their representative only added to my frustration. The person on the phone displayed zero willingness to go out of their way to make up for the error. Their dismissive attitude and lack of empathy were deeply off-putting.What bothered me even more was the fact that there was not even an attempt made to help fix the issue this very night. I understand that mistakes happen, but a reputable establishment should be proactive in finding a resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. It was disheartening to encounter such indifference and a complete lack of effort on their part.As a customer, I believe that it is not only fair but essential for businesses to take responsibility for their mistakes and make sincere efforts to rectify them. Sadly, Top Spice failed miserably in this regard. Their customer service left a sour taste in my mouth, overshadowing any redeeming qualities they may have had.I highly discourage anyone from dining at Top Spice, especially if you value good customer service and quality food. The dry and tasteless pork coupled with the lack of effort to address the issue has left me deeply disappointed. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that offer better food and genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction. In conclusion, Top Spice's poor customer service and the lack of effort to rectify their mistakes make it a place I cannot recommend. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by choosing an alternative dining option that values its customers' experiences and strives for excellence.
The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant, featuring decorations that include various spices displayed in glass jars on the walls and tables. We visited for lunch and requested a comfortable couch chair, but were informed that those were reserved. Instead, we were seated at a small table with four chairs. Unfortunately, the table was a bit cramped for accommodating four plates, containers, glasses, and starters, but we managed. The server was friendly and courteous, which we appreciated. The portion sizes were just right for one person. However, the Pad Thai and spicy spaghetti leaned towards being overly sweet, despite the addition of chili flakes. Overall, I was not satisfied with the taste as it was sweeter than expected. We finished our lunch in about 45-50 minutes, and during that time, the reserved seats remained empty. I hope they can take guest requests into consideration in the future to ensure a more comfortable dining experience.
Place was nearly empty when we were there, therefore service was really fast and the food was really good, although the shrimp in the pad thai came with the shell at the end, so you need to clean them up before eating them, which is kind of a hassle, since they only give you a fork at the beginning.
