Tea Corner - Atlanta
Tea Corner
Description
Tucked beneath a residential building, this bubble-tea spot charms with cute decor and friendly staff and sometimes serves well-brewed boba. Reviews are mixed: drinks can be overly milky, faintly flavored, suffer bland milk foam or too-chewy pearls, and some specialty sodas taste artificial. Practical downsides include unreliable online ordering, occasional refusal of phone orders, costly garage parking and a sketchy surrounding area. Worth a try for locals and curious newcomers, but flavor purists should manage expectations.

Disappointing drink! I ordered a Brown Sugar Black Tea Boba, but what I received was mostly milk and brown sugar. To make matters worse, the milk foam was the blandest I've ever tasted. I'm currently brewing my own tea at home to mix in instead.
I ordered the mango sparkling limeade Thai milk tea, and I found the artificial flavoring to be quite unpleasant! Perhaps I should give it another chance, but we didn’t even make it past the first trash can we encountered before tossing it out.
A few months ago, I bought a condo in the building and decided to give this place a try since it's right downstairs. I never really understood what bubble tea was until now, and I learned that it's made with tapioca. The Brown Sugar boba milk tea I had was absolutely delicious! The staff member at the counter was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back regularly.
The interior is nice, but the surrounding area is spooky. The only parking is in the garage, where many shady characters are wandering. The milk teas were pretty good, though, and the bobas were brewed very well.
