I do think that Midtown could be a little more service oriented refill water without asking, would you like dessert, rather than just handing you the bill. We had a very nice dinner, but thought it odd that the waiter seemed like he preferred that we leave, even though the restaurant was not crowded! Just kind of weird.

But I don't understand is the type of music that is playe... read more This is our second or third time coming to the restaurant. The food and service is always exceptional. But I don't understand is the type of music that is played and the noise level. Would be so much better if there was some authentic Indian music that was quiet and not interrupting our conversation. We brought another couple and they thoroughly enjoyed it, but I had to ask our waiter to turn down the music as it was just drowning out our conversation.
