THIS RESTAURANT WAS SO GREAT!! : the food was delicious. The hostess whose name i believe was justis , was so sweet she came back to our table many times to check on us also brought our drinks over from the bar ...our server was okay she seemed a little rushed . I did leave a 50.00 tip for miss justis on the table so i hope she received it . Overall this restaurant was definitely worth the drive we will be back very soon!!!!! :
We decided to have dinner at this restaurant. Although we didn't have the complete experience, we enjoyed the food and the customer service. The parking situation is very strange.
I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and beautiful, making it a great place to dine. Parking options were convenient with the choice of valet or self-parking, which was easy to access via elevators. The service was excellent, with our waiter being attentive and efficient. Although the food tasted good, I was disappointed to discover that the meal I had been looking forward to was not available. This left several people in our group having to settle for alternate choices. Despite this setback, our waiter made an effort to suggest similar options, and my replacement meal was satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed the rum punch, which had the perfect balance of alcohol and juices. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I would definitely return, if only to try the unavailable meal in the future.
This restaurant is a pleasant spot with delicious dishes. However, it is worth noting that the actual space does not quite match up to the photos online. Despite expecting a more indoor park-like atmosphere, the restaurant has a more traditional and upscale feel. The open layout is quite spacious yet cozy, and the tall booth backs provide a sense of privacy. Overall, a nice place well worth a visit.
I was very impressed with the food at Parkwoods. The seafood was my favorite because it was very fresh. I ate quite a bit of oysters The Mac cheese and the salmon were also very delicious. It was a Christmas morning buffet so they also had a carving station for prime rib, charcuterie, belgian waffle station and an omelet station. The omelet station was made to order and the omelet tastes amazing. We also had a mimosa. The mimosas were $10. The mimosas were not the strongest i,ve had but it did taste good. They also had a dessert making station and cookie decorating station. I'm always skeptical when it comes to macaroons because they are usually hard and rubbery at some places, but the ones on their dessert bar were soft and tasted fresh. The vibe was very peaceful and laid back. The server was polite and attentive. I think her name was Latisha. The restaurant makes you feel like you're eating in a glass house. It's beautiful, serene and earthy. Someone was playing jazz music on a keyboard so that enhanced the ambience even more. There is a lot of beautiful art and statement pieces placed throughout the lobby and restaurant. The Christmas Brunch buffet was $49 per adult(without tax) and worth EVERY penny. We paid $8 to park in the parking garage of the Crowne Plaza Rivina hotel.
