Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood, this restaurant offers a blend of food and coffee in a welcoming atmosphere, especially for dog lovers. While the menu features limited vegan options, the coffee stands out as a highlight, though some patrons feel it leans toward the pricey side. The outdoor patio and a well-regarded dog park enhance its charm, even as the service’s mood varies. While some diners appreciate the friendly environment, they note occasional issues like greasy kitchen ventilation. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot to socialize, with potential for improvement in both food variety and service.

Was Anonym at Parkgrounds a mag?
I wasn't able to find parking right away because I didn't arrive early enough, but as soon as I walked in, it felt like home. There were three vegan options on the menu, and there was a friendly group of people in the dog park nearby. Everyone there was understanding of their puppy's behavior and very kind about it. I'm happy to be back in midtown. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Parkgrounds:
They no longer have vegan pancakes. The main options are a mediocre hash brown bowl or a bagel with jelly or avo. But for Atlanta, I’m usually just happy for a place with any option. View all feedback.
This coffee shop in our neighborhood is our favorite spot! We have a great appreciation for the wonderful staff, management, and excellent service. The menu is exciting and they serve the best chia lattes in town. Additionally, their frozen margarita machine is perfect for those summer afternoons. Our dogs also enjoy visiting this place! There is ample parking available as well.
I was disappointed that I couldn't bring my dog inside the restaurant, and they also refused to serve me outside. I wouldn't feel at ease leaving my expensive $3k dog unattended outside while I place an order.
This restaurant is an essential part of the community, fitting in perfectly with the neighborhood. The staff knows their regulars by name and the menu offers a wide variety of options including food, coffee, tea, and beer. The indoor seating is comfortable with Wi-Fi, and there is plenty of outdoor seating that is dog-friendly. This coffee shop is a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal or drink. Plus, UGA Alumni will appreciate that they serve a special roast from Jittery Joes.
Food and coffee are great, people are always friendly, and there is a great assortment of seating options. It sounds silly, but the only reason why I'm giving a 4 star is because there is something up with their ventilation for their kitchen. Even if I'm in there for only 5 minutes, I end up smelling like greasy breakfast food for the rest of the day or until I change/shower. It's to the point where I've chosen not to go here if I don't feel like having my hair and clothes smelling like cooking all day. I've been to plenty of breakfast diners that don't have this issue, so I don't know what's going on here. I can only imagine what it's like working there. Again, I know this is a first world problem complaint but something that has been a constant since going here.
