I 'm a fan of Panera Bread company. I 've been to many locations around the country and a My Panera member. I 'm a advocate of good health food that 's simple and quick to order. But this location failed 3x 's As I was looking for a parking spot, I noticeda shuttle van of senior citizens pulled up to the front of the store. So I 'm liking what I 'm seeing that this place caters tothe elderly. But all that changed. Strike 1: I approached the entrance and looked behind me to see a Panera employee enteringbehind me. I opened the door for her and she passed me like I wasn 't even there. No thank you or nothing. And she was on duty.As she walked passed, I said, You 're Welcome to her. She said nothing. Strike 2: I placed my to stay order for a hot chickenbowl. When it was ready there was something that didn 't look right. It was free of chicken. But chicken was the main ingredient. You 'd think that wouldn 't be missing. Strike 3: The food at the pastry display counter looked appealing and I was going to buy afew baked goods to get more membership rewards, but that was quickly changed when I saw an employee sweeping the floor at thepastry display. I 'm just not a fan of floor dust in my bear claw. Good food, poorly run operation.
On 30 September at 6:30 am, I purchase a regular coffee for $2.91. I gave the cashier $3 but she could not give me change due to the drawers not being ready. She asked if I wanted my .09 cents. While the change was minimal, I wonder why bother openingat 6:30 am if you cannot conduct cash transactions.
This location seems to have some real operational and maybe staffing issues going on lately, judging by my experience and recent reviews. They should just turn off online ordering for this location while they get it straight. And forget about orderingthere for lunch if you are an any way time constrained. Placed an online order for a salad. It said order would be ready in 10minutes. I got there in 15 minutes. I got my order 30 minutes after the assigned pick up time, and 40 minutes after Iordered. I didn't check my order before I left. It didn't have the extra quinoa I ordered, or my side AND about 1/3 of thesalad was wilted and the tomatoes were watery. I have eaten at Panera many times and in many locations and unfortunately, thiswas my worst experience. The manager was apologetic and was trying to move things along but seemed overwhelmed. I won't begoing to this location again.
I visited the restaurant at 10:00 A.M. on a Saturday, only to find that they had run out of bagels. It was disappointing, to say the least. I think this place needs to consider closing down.
