Valentine's day weekend. They where slammed. We where in no hurry so not a big deal. Wait time on some of our dinner was long. Our waitress did her best to check up on us. Have dined her before and it was excellent. This time it was no as impressive. After 830 or 9 it seemed to get be getting back on track. Good drinks and good company made the bad stuff go away. I would go back again just to see if it was a off nigh... View all feedback.
They struggled with inventory lack and personal coverage, so I don't want to judge them on my one experience alone, but hopefully also do better next time. a revolving menu that was interesting. my man really loved the selleriesalat. I liked the specksalat, but would divide the flat leaf petersilie with arugula or some bitter greens. the combination of pears and speck was delicious. they couldn't make any fries for the burger, but the ersatzsalat was disappointing. the salat leaves were not even cut, looked like left remnants; random leaves were in there and some were devastated. it was obviously a reflection. the burger was not the best I had and not the hype I expected. the fish was really good. delicious and damp. our server was also the bartender and it really felt like a two man operation. I hope they get the support they need because I see the talent.
If they want the best brunch in atlanta, they have to go to the one eared day. I would highly recommend the hot chicken with gravure and cookies and the Dutch baby pancake. the burger is also amazing. they can't go wrong with nothing in the menu. they also have some great cocktails.
Beautiful small place in the inman park. I should have eaten here for years, as I live about 3 minutes away. I wish I hadn't waited so long. the menu varies a lot, based on what is fresh, but the direction is excellent. they have a happy hour every weekday afternoon with a large oyster selection, and the place has a very comfortable, upscale atmosphere. in any case recommend.
Beautiful place, fun atmosphere, great drinks, very nice and attentive staff. I ordered kimchi carolina goldreis and it was phenomenal. we also ordered smelt, steaktare, dumpstersalat, English exhort and collar (we were hungry). every single thing was delicious and well prepared. if I lived in atlanta, I would visit this place frequently.
Great atmosphere. Fantastic presentation. Food is good. $22 for whole fried chicken with pre-determined sides is very fair. Chicken had great flavor was incredibly tender but the crust was mushy in a few places maybe due to sitting somewhere where it steamed a bit.
