**Muchacho: A Vibrant Experience with Room for Improvement** Muchacho, located in a revitalized space near the Beltline, boasts a lively atmosphere perfect for solo diners or groups. While the ambiance shines with inviting decor and a welcoming outdoor area, the ordering system can create congestion. The menu, while featuring highlights like the carnitas and a delicious burrito, often leans towards standard Tex-Mex, leaving some dishes feeling underwhelming. Though cocktails may miss the mark, the attentive service and unique coffee offerings elevate the experience. Ideal for casual visits, Muchacho stands out more for its vibe than culinary authenticity, appealing to those seeking a trendy dining locale.

Great day for a terrace! The staff was cool and the food was great. 6 of us were here and all had amazing food. I had a pig bell Taco and the watermelon salad. Salad was a little spicy, but the dressing balanced it out. Spacious and plenty of space at the bar, but the terrace can wait one as its super popular. View all feedback.
What jill pj dislikes about Muchacho:
I know this place has it fits fans, and I love the location. And to give them credit, the Carnita is a good taco. But the chips were mostly crumbs, and the queso is one step above rotelle. My cocktail was the Paloma and it was good but it was mostly ice. My veggie taco was overly spiced and kind of pasty. I would love to love them, but they are a little above mediocre at best in my book. They ain’t got nuthin on Taqu... View all feedback.

I recently visited Muchacho and had a great experience. The Burrito was absolutely delicious and the coffee was particularly remarkable. The food is Mexican. The restaurant was well done and the location was fantastic, right on the Beltline. The service was polite and attentive. The prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food made it worth it. I would definitely recommend Muchacho.
How to collect a fun place for brunch, lunch or dinner! Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs... we ordered everything in the menu. But drinking day calls for snacks, hello! We have a tade, Le Seufzer, too late for breakfast. But at least they served coffee! I started with her golden latte... To die. The street corn ribs are a must. The Pommes remind me of McDonalds in a great way. Thin and crispy and very well seasoned. The chips we salty and crisp and the salsa was excellent. My steak burrito was just that. Nothing special, I wish the cheese was melted.
On my second visit, I wanted to sit outside on a Saturday. I found it odd that I had to place my order before finding a table. Although you're still expected to tip, this arrangement didn't seem to fit the restaurant's atmosphere. They have several runners who deliver food to guests, but wouldn't it make more sense for them to be servers? Their cocktail menu is fairly limited and not very impressive. During my second visit, I tried the SPF Zero drink with pineapple, which arrived with a wilted leaf and was also sour and bitter. I'm not sure if I'm just picking the wrong drinks or if there isn't much variety on the menu. The tres leches cake looked nice but was dry and lacked flavor. Overall, the food is decent, and the vibes are cool, but there's definitely room for improvement. This place wouldn't be my first choice for dining out.
The heartbreaking part is that we missed out on breakfast tacos by 4 minutes (make it there before 11am! , but we were just as happy going into lunch tacos early because they were delicious and it’s a lovely space. Chicken mole, barbacoa, al pastor and fish tacos were all juicy and flavorful, and my sorghum shaker was the coffee drink I didn’t know I needed.
