Mezcalito's Cocina Tequila - Atlanta

The food was pretty decent; I highly recommend trying the brisket taco. However, the chicken and cheese quesadilla was rather bland. The atmosphere was nice—not too noisy and well-lit, even in the parking lot. While I wouldn't rush back, I think it’s definitely worth a visit. One thing to note is that they automatically add gratuity to bills over $70, which can be tough to avoid. I’m not a fan of that practice, especially for smaller parties like just my wife and me. What if our server hadn’t been great? Overall, though, it was a good experience.

Unfortunately, the food was a different matter. If you enjoy appetizers, you might have a good experience here, but I found the main dishes lacking in flavor—the green rice was particularly bland. The crispy taquitos were soggy, and our orders were either missing items or included things we didn't request. Our waitress appeared to be inexperienced; I usually try to be understanding, but she never returned to check if we needed refills or anything else. We had to repeatedly ask for napkins and parts of our order. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, the service left much to be desired. While I see myself coming back for drinks, I think I’ll stick to the bar for now.

My first impression was outstanding. The atmosphere was wonderful. I sampled a flight of tequilas, along with several appetizers and three types of tacos. Everything was superb. The staff struck the perfect balance between being attentive and allowing us the space to savor our meal.

We randomly chose this place off a Google search to grab dinner coming from NC. So glad we did! The food was delicious! My husband had the steak and goat cheese enchiladas and I devoured the taquitos. We ate at the bar and bartender was fantastic. Shewas very knowledgeable on the menu and mixes excellent drinks. The vibe is super chill and laid back. We will definitely beback. Wish I had food pics to share ???? but it was gone quick

Beautiful ambiance, amazing music, friendly staff but slow service. We had dinner at this Mexican restaurant and the food was delicious. Their yuca fries are must have, the sauce was mouthwatering. Their guacamole also had different taste and it was verygood. Plan to go ahead of time cuz they don?t take reservations on call and their is waiting period. The parking gets filled upfast so get in early and get the spot. Definitely recommended!
