Meehan's Public House - Atlanta

I would 100% not recommend eating here unless you like roaches joining you at the dinner table. A little traumatized after this experience. But the way the restaurant is so dirty unkept, it's no surprise that roaches run abundant here.

I stopped through here after leaving another Yelp event, so I figured I'd leave a review as well! Location and ParkingYard House is located at Atlantic Station, Parking in in the underground garage and is free for the first 2 hours. Venue and AtmosphereWe were seated immediately by a friendly hostess; it was after 9 pm on a Tuesday so no need for a reservation. The restaurant features table and booth seating, as well as a full bar with TVs all around playing various sports channels. They also have a patio with generous seating and ceiling fans. The bathrooms are clean. Food and drinksI ordered an Ace Pineapple cider while my partner ordered an old fashioned. Yard House's claim to fame is that they have over 30 beers and ciders on tap. While the cider was delicious, the old fashioned was not the best. I guess their specialty isn't cocktails. I then had the jambalaya pasta. While the portions of seafood were generous, the cajun flavor could've been a little more potent. My partner had the pizza with pepperoni and sausage, which was very good. ServiceOur server was kind and brought us to-go boxes without having to ask. I love it when a server can sense that I'm getting full lol. The VerdictI've been to Yardhouse several times now and I'd definitely go back for the pizza!

Vegetarian options available: Salad and Impossible Burger.

Before I even get to the meal, I spent 15 min at the bar waiting to get a menu and another 15 to put my order in. I should have known when the people next to me complained about waiting over an hour for food that it was going to be an issue. Once my meal was ordered, I sat with an empty drink while every employee passed by me and didn't even ask me if I was doing okay. They spent more time chatting with the people they knew at the bar than anything. Terrible service.I ordered a ribeye to dine in and a Cobb salad w/ chicken to go. The steak came out decently quick so luckily that wasn't an issue, but it was over cooked and burnt in some areas on the outside. Once my meal was halfway eaten I was told my to go order was coming out soon.. 30 minutes later and roughly 20 after I finished my meal I got my salad. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. Walk all the way back to my hotel to find that I had no dressing in my to go salad. I would NOT go back to this location for food again. Plenty of other options in Atlanta.

Nice location. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the food was perfect. Also, reasonably priced imo!!Just want to add, that I don’t think my pic does the food justice as it was soooo tasty.
