What User likes about La Pastorcita:
Have to give 5 stars because the place is very authentic. There's very little English spoken, but it works. The Carne a Tampiquena was phenomenal. The steak was very good with a ton of flavor, as were the beans and cheese enchiladas. Will be back again for sure. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about La Pastorcita:
Sign says they close at 2 AM. Google says they close at 2 AM. But for the only African Americans there at 1 AM they’re closed. The response was cold and dismissive. Although we were shunned from sitting down, I’m fortunate they didn’t take our money. View all feedback.

Best tacos in Brookhaven area. Al pastor and chorizo were my favorite.

While many patrons praise the Carne a Tampiquena and flavorful horchata, others express disappointment with undercooked tacos and a lack of seasoning in dishes like caldo de camaron. Service reviews are polarized; some appreciate the familial environment, while others report cold attitudes and unprofessional behavior. Despite the inconsistencies in food quality and service, the warm corn tortillas and hearty beef soup stand out as highlights, making it a spot worth exploring for adventurous diners searching for authentic cuisine.
I believe this restaurant serves the most authentic tacos in Atlanta.
