Was jjj ジェイ (jjj at J's Bistro a mag?
My wife and I went to J Bistro in the evening on 6/12/2023. We ordered one K30 and two K46. K46 (black noodles) was okay- nothing special, but K30 (Fried shrimp) was exceptional. We will revisit. View all feedback.
What Alan Carlson dislikes about J's Bistro:
I drove for TWO HOURS to celebrate my birthday only to discover that they've suddenly started closing on Wednesdays! I've been really wanting to try black bean noodles, but I can't find them ANYWHERE! This was the one time I took off work and made plans to come here, and now this happens! I'm so frustrated! This place is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Atlanta! You literally cannot go

The best sichuan style Mapo Tofu I've ever had. I've tried dozens of other Chinese places looking for anything close but nowhere I've tried comes close to JBistro. Fantastic.

We were seated in a booth and warmly greeted in Spanish, which caught me off guard but was a nice touch. I appreciate having language assistance for when I bring my parents next time. I didn't catch the server's name, but we arrived around five and were seated quickly. Our server, Alan, took our orders and was incredibly friendly and efficient. Our meals arrived promptly, allowing us to enjoy conversation, and everything was served hot. The table had small plates for sharing. I tried the Mapo tofu, which is vegetarian, but you can add beef if you prefer. My companion enjoyed a generous portion of beef Lo Mein, and another friend praised the General Tso's chicken as excellent. The restrooms have two stalls and were fairly clean. As for vegetarian options, the menu includes a dedicated vegetarian section. Parking can be a bit challenging to find later in the evening due to the high number of restaurants and the nearby H Mart.
