We such a nice time here! We sat outside, and the environment and street were a lot like New Orleans. The staff was attentive and very friendly and charming even though they were very busy. My husband had the Mongolian Beef Philly and LOVED it. He?s notusually that expressive about food, but he went on and on about it. I was happy for the gluten free pizza option. We are rarelyin Cabbagetown, but will be back to JenChan?s!
Decided to drop in for an early dinner based on the good rating and favorable reviews. This place was a big let down and missed the mark on multiple levels. Here's the deets: For starters they had an unavailable menu item (fried blue crab claws) 1pt I ordered the TSOA chicken with mixed vegetables. I took one bite of the chicken and decided not to consume. The texture of themeat did not taste like a quality product (if you know...you know). I immediately let the server know I didn't like thedish, and they could clearly see I hadn't eaten the dish, but was told they could only take off 20% for the plate. That was afirst! I have never had a restaurant not complety take of an item that was sent back especially if it was uneaten. A restaurantshould never be that cheap to refuse a full refund for food sent back. Ending on a bright note. I also ordered the pork eggrolls which were very tasty, I'd recommend it.
This is the ideal casual spot for gathering with friends. The food was fantastic! We had a group of 12, and everyone was thrilled with the delicious meals and the charming atmosphere. As for dietary restrictions, there were plenty of great gluten-free options available.

We discovered this restaurant while searching for a spot to enjoy some appetizers after admiring the nearby murals, and we couldn't be happier with our find! We shared the street fries, Vietnamese pizza, and fried mushrooms, and every dish was absolutely delicious! Each item was fantastic, but the pizza truly shone with its unique topping of Asian slaw. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was even better!
