The best JAMAICAN FOOD in ATLANTA!!!! My favorite restaurant in Atlanta!!! Owner Dexter is born in Jamaica and raised and is super friendly. The food is amazing and authentic and the owner and the staff are amazing. I love this restaurant!!!! If you don't think Jam Rock is a plate, your MaMa has done a terrible job to raise you. YEAR
It's a very nice restaurant to eat at . The oxtail is the best and you can eat outside where they have tables beautiful views
The food lacks flavor. I'm Bahamian, so I know what island food is supposed to taste like. This place is not it. I had the curry chicken dinner with collard greens. I won't ever eat here again. But the customer service was nice, though. Very friendly staff. But the food is a major no for me.
I had been avoiding this restaurant for a while because it made me uncomfortable. Today, I was craving their food, so I decided to give it another try, but the situation was the same. I ended up leaving without placing an order. I find it unsanitary and unacceptable, and I believe it may even violate health regulations in Atlanta. It's disappointing because I genuinely want to support small local businesses and enjoy what they offer. However, my commitment to keeping my sister, who is battling cancer, safe takes precedence, and I can't take chances with a place that seems to neglect pandemic safety while preparing food. Moreover, I’m extremely concerned about their takeout orders. Customers who order online may not be aware of the risks they're taking by choosing this food.
I really miss JAMROCK on Moreland Avenue—it’s only a five-minute drive from my home! I want to give a big shout-out to the entire staff; I've had the pleasure of getting to know each one of them. The food is absolutely fantastic. The curry chicken is outstanding, and the jerk chicken is the best I’ve ever tasted. Their jerk chicken patties, curry chicken patties, cabbage, collard greens, saltfish, and plantains are all incredible. Should I keep going?
