Grand Champion Bbq - Atlanta

Barbecue here smells delicious. My son followed the tantalizing smoky smell with his nose until it let him here. He ordered the sausage dog which we were not expecting to be so large. He is 11 and was unable to finish it so that tells you just how big it really is. It comes with chow chow but I had them put it on the side being and I was pretty sure he would not eat it. I did taste it and thought it was delicious. He also order the macaroni and cheese as his side and it wasn't the best macaroni and cheese I've tasted but it wasn't the worst either. I will suggest maybe trying a different side unless you were ordering for a child. This was a combo meal for$12.99. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to assist with any questions that was asked.

Visited this restaurant for the first time last month and must say the food was delicious! Very hard to find a real BBQ places that actually smokes their food as advertised. The smoked flavor is definitely authentic. I had the baby back ribs and they literally fell off the bone, I was able to easily eat them with a plastic fork. I had both the sweet and the spicy BBQ sauce on the side and both sauces were better than most I've had. As I couldn't decide what to order when I got their employee Raymond was able to explain all the options and helped me make a great choice.

Raymond was the best, very polite and attentive. The collard greens and mac and cheese are out of this world. I dont find many BBQ places that can cook some real southern style dishes. I will definitely be going back.
