Feedback
**Restaurant Review: Fandangles** Fandangles, located within a hotel, presents a mixed dining experience. While the atmosphere is pleasant and some patrons appreciate a friendly staff and prompt service, others express disappointment with slow service and a menu that seems limited compared to previous visits. Complaints include unappetizing food, the presence of fruit flies, and service errors, such as the incorrect order of dishes. However, certain menu items, like the sausage and onion flatbread, have garnered positive feedback. The bar service, led by a talented bartender named DJ, shines with skillful drink preparation and attentive service, standing out amidst varying dining experiences.
The food was absolutely delicious. I've never had better shrimps and grits than what I had here. The crab cake was also delicious. The staff and the service were also fantastic. Very welcoming atmosphere.
Fandangles tends to be our DragonCon weekend standard dinner spot. The food is always excellent and the staff is super and helpful. Waiting times when we come tend to be longer, but given the fact that there is a 60,000 person convention it is completely understandable
To be honest, I didn’t actually try the food since it didn't appear appetizing. Additionally, I wasn’t able to eat the cheese on the flatbread. After waiting 40-50 minutes for my order, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, I decided not to eat it because it contained an ingredient I’m allergic to that wasn’t mentioned in the description. The service was slow, which was disappointing. Given that I was staying at the hotel, the convenience of dining there seemed ideal, but ultimately I had to go elsewhere for dinner.
When I walked in, it took at least 30 minutes for my order to be taken, even though there were only four people in front of me. The food lacked flavor, and to make matters worse, another waitress stopped me to ask for payment again, even though I had already paid the first waitress. She didn't offer any assistance during my visit, yet wanted to stop me for another payment. I definitely won't be returning.
