Felt like I was in NYC. A very cool spot. Sarah, Sarah, and Christian were terrific.
I’m a regular, and never usually leave reviews. This place has seen me through thick and thin. Love Ecco!!!!
Dinner with a friend. We each got a drink, split two appetizers (fried goat cheese and pork belly), each got an entree (parpadelle and gnocchi), and shared a dessert. Total was $140 with tip. Drinks were absolutely delicious, and they were happyto adjust for my friend. The fried goat cheese was amazing, would 100% get it again. Melt in your mouth, balanced perfect intexture and flavor. The pork belly was also delicious, but only 3 pieces felt really bad. Both the pastas were out of thisworld good. I've been to Italy, and this was close. the gnocchi was creamy and perfect pan fried crisp. The parpadelle wassmothered in delicious sauce, and the pork was amazingly tender. Only downside was the portion size; although my femalecompanion was very full, I literally grabbed some fast food on the way home cuz I was still hungry (and I'm not THAT big of aguy...Barely 190 pounds). The dessert was middling, the only weak point of the meal. The service was excellent, with the servergiving great explanations and recommendations. My water stayed full, and many people made sure we were having a great meal.
Interesting fare and a really cool ambiance, but doesn 't quite meet the price tag. Im open to giving it another try, but not going to make a point of going back, either.. Foodwise, the gnocchi was excellent and the fried goat cheese was a fun take; theFlatbread fell a little... well, flat , and the swordfish was a nice cut, but seemed like the sides tried too hard. Overall washit or miss. Server was friendly, but overall service (particularly bar service) was slow. With wait staff being understaffedeverywhere we 're understanding of this, but better communication would 've helped to just be aware that we 'd be waiting 20-30minsfor a cocktail.
