We made reservations, and we were there in ample time before our concert at State Farm Arena. We ordered our food, and after waiting about minutes, our server informed us that the kitchen was backed up and that it would be at least more minutes before our food âmightâ come out (a salad and burger). What Elda Friesen doesn't like about Dantanna's Downtown:
Most of us wanted ribeyes only to learn none were available. Many of us ordered baked potatoes but mashed were served (without notice) since no baked potatoes were available. A few of us ordered wine only to learn they didn't have what we selected off the menu. The steaks came out at least a temperature more than requested. Too much time was passing to send them back. Ugh. It was convenient but that's about all. Regret not looking further than across the street. Food and service were substandard.
Reserved a table for a pre-concert meal with five business clients. Food was great, service was excellent, the place was packed and the noise level was a little high, but we totally expected that for the night of a concert. Would definitely go there again to eat before a concert!
There was a big convent and a concert, but they were understaffed badly. Also it was VERY hot, I heard another guest say something about too
Great burger and Cuban sandwich. Service was fast and server was very attentive. Enjoyed everything.
The place was completely empty, but service from Britney was fantastic. Sheâs really good at what she does! Thank you.
