Service always set the tone of the customer experience and our server, Wright, exceeded in all aspects throughout the entire visit .. he needs to be rewarded with a raise. Kudos to him. I'm giving a 5-star rating even though my pizza didn't seem to have any mozzarella on it. View all feedback.
What Nithinsha S doesn't like about California Pizza Kitchen Perimeter Mall Priority Seating:
I was really disappointed with this Perimeter CPK. I ordered fettuccine pasta, and it was severely undercooked. This was the first time I’ve ever experienced undercooked pasta; usually, it's overcooked. I mentioned this to our waitress, and I’m almost certain they simply added a few spoonfuls of sauce to the pasta, sautéed it, and returned the same dish to me. First, when I asked for bread, the older Asian server in pink replied that she would get the drinks first. For a table of five, we received only four pieces of bread. When I asked for more, I was met with disapproving looks and only given a small bowl of oil—without the rosemary I expected. As the dishes were served, no one even bent down to place the plates on the table; instead, the server stood there with his hand out, expecting us to take the plates directly from him. When I requested to keep a menu for future reference, the server bluntly said no. If customers want to refer to the menu, why can't they have one? Throughout our meal, they hardly cleared our plates, and the pizza was served uncut, leaving us unsure about how to eat it. The server made a face when we asked him to cut it for us. We even had to ask for spoons when sauce was served—shouldn't that be a standard part of the service? The most ridiculous part came at the end when the same server stood in front of us, expecting us to leave a tip right in front of her. We wanted to have a conversation, and it was only 8:53 PM—closing time was 10 PM, so why the rush? Then, to top it all off, she returned demanding her copy of the receipt, as if she couldn’t wait to leave. Is this how customers should be treated? It felt like they were doing us a favor by serving us. The service was abysmal, and I definitely won't be returning. The experience felt not just unprofessional, but also tinged with racism. It was the worst service I've ever encountered.

I mentioned this to our waitress, and I’m almost certain they simply added a few spoonfuls of sauce to the pasta, sautéed it, and returned the same dish to me. The pasta was now swimming in sauce, but it remained tough and tasted raw. I couldn't eat it, so we just paid our bill and left. My wife ordered a pizza, which was mediocre at best—definitely not worth the price. The quality has significantly declined. The last time I had CPK was two years ago, and we really enjoyed it.
The pizza was excellent, as always. The service was up to standard, and I appreciated the atmosphere along with the friendly staff. I will definitely return soon!
We arrived and were told that their ipad did not work, so that our open table reservation could not be viewed or honored.
We had our final dinner with them, excellent when we were a party of 24. our service last night was very slow.
