Not sure what is up with all the negative reviews on this place but my husband and I visited Brklyn Kitchen for his birthday and had a great time.First thing to know is that this place is not a full service restaurant. The place is more of a lounge with the option of some great tasting food. We had the J Chicken Rasta Pasta and the Oxtail Rasta Pasta and I can't even begin to tell you how awesome the food is. What Cody H doesn't like about Brklyn Kitchen Lounge:
They were out of almost everything we tried to order. When it came to drinks, they had almost nothing not even gin and tonic. When we finally did get food, it was microwaved and served in plastic containers. We paid over $60 for 1 drink, 2 waters, a piece of chicken microwaved on a bun, and a spring roll. Then for payment, I had to apple pay my server instead of paying the business. The only positives were that the s... View all feedback.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant during the two nights I visited. The first time was on New Year's, where we enjoyed hookahs and had a great time both upstairs and downstairs. The second time was for my birthday, and I had just as much fun. I even got to celebrate with the owner! It's disappointing to hear that it's now out of business, but unfortunately, good things don’t last forever.
This establishment is run by dishonest individuals. My company completed a cleaning job to prepare their kitchen for opening, and now we are involved in a lawsuit and are pursuing them for payment. Be aware of the kind of business you are choosing to support.
We encountered significant issues during our visit. The restaurant was out of nearly everything we tried to order, including drinks – they didn't even have gin and tonic available. When our food finally arrived, it was microwaved and served in plastic containers. We ended up paying over $60 for one drink, two waters, a microwaved chicken sandwich, and a spring roll. To make matters worse, I had to use Apple Pay to pay my server directly instead of the restaurant. The only positives were that our server was attentive and they were one of the few places open. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.
Looks can deceiving but the food here will definitely bring you back . I can tell when it's fresh to order and that's the difference, it took a little time but it was so worth it . Brooklyn is known for a few things but in Atlanta this place brings me back BK vibes . They have love music at least the night decided to go . If I could change anything it would be the parking situation because they use the public parking and don't have validated parking and in ATL that's the bonus we look for I can't wait to go back because the Rasta pasta with the salmon I had was perfectly cooked as well as the pasta . I'll def try another style next time but I would give it a 5 but the wait was lengthy but sooooooo worth it !!!! So I'll update it in hopes next time it will be a little less of a wait but if it taste the same I'm waiting
The lounge area upstairs is a vibe. Good hookah. Chill late night spot. The only food I like here so far is the pizza pasta.i wouldn’t recommend the curry chicken ?? Me my 4 sisters got it one night. It was over cooked dry chicken tenderloins, no bone-in chicken. The kitchen manager was sweet and refunded us mthough
