Bakaris Plant-based Pizza - Atlanta

We ordered two of the vegan pizzas and they were really good, especially the Hawaiian one. I wasn't a huge fan of the pizza crust, though. It was rather dry and dense. But that was compensated by the toppings which were very flavorful.

Truly amazing! I don't go out often, but this will definitely be a regular go-to for me.

I ordered the Sloppy Vegan burger but I am 90%sure I got the Wakanda Vegan burger. (Based on the description and look) The taste was great, whichever it was. Also, the burgers come with fries and the Wakanda says you can get sweet potato fries for $2.50 extra but they charged me full price for sweet potato fries. I asked about the burger and they said it was the sloppy, but it had vegan cheese on it and in the menu the sloppy didn’t have cheese but the Wakanda did. This place is more of a bar than a restaurant, good vibe but again just not what they seem to advertise. No happy hour (although, again, the menu says 4-8pm) “because of COVID.” They automatically include 18% gratuity to all checks over $20 (but the menu says over $40); the explanation given was “because of COVID”.

Was really excited to try this place because their website claims that their entire menu is free from gluten. However, upon calling to confirm, I was told that they usually have GF crust as an option but they don’t have it right now.

I tried the ultra vegan deluxe pizza at this restaurant and it was delicious. I added a sprinkle of salt and red pepper flakes to enhance the flavors.
