Five stars for an incredible dinner at APRON! We started with the Strawberry Bruschetta, which was the perfect blend of local strawberries, creamy goat cheese, and fresh basil on grilled bread. For the main, the spare ribs were absolutely delicious—tender and packed with flavor. A huge thank you to our server, Cierra, who was attentive, friendly, and made the evening even better. Between the amazing food and the unique views of the Porsche track and airport runways, it was a memorable night. Can’t wait to come back!
Menu is extremely limited (6 main course? and they do not allow you to switch any sides. For example, potatoes for asparagus. Ridiculous!
I I was very disappointed with the experience our family had on what was to be a very special day for my mother's 80th birthday and my 2nd year wedding anniversary. We had a total of people in our party. The first issue was that when we began to order, we soon found out certain items were not available and that there was no concession for substituting. Next, it took awhile for the food to come out and when it did, it did not come out all together. Lastly and most disappointing is that my order NEVER came out. This was later explained that the server, Cheryl, never put it in. She offered to put it in and rush it out and I understandably declined because our table was asking for take home containers because they had finished their meals. Now usually in most situations, the restaurant would offer a meal complimentary when situations like this happen, but this is not the case with Apron. I would hope that this was an one time event. That, this is not how your establishment usually operates. My wife was so upset with what took place. I only learned of the Apron when me and my wife were guest in the hotel last spring for her birthday. We did not eat at that time but said we would come back to experience the food on another occasion which was yesterday. It was my wedding anniversary and my mother's 80th birthday and it was a terrible experience. I hope that you take this information I am sharing and improve going forward.
The staff were very friendly. We will go back in the future if we stay at the Kimpton.
This hotel and restaurant has lost some of its original charm and there were very few people in the restaurant. It seems that they now cater to conference attendees but when they don’t have a conference it’s like a ghost town. Food was good but only limited offerings . Servers paid attention to details allowing us to communicate and conduct business. Not sure what it would be like when a conference is in town. I’ve seen this restaurant evolve and with not many options in the area, it is a good place for a business luncheon.
