Inimitable Anglo-Irish style in a fort designed to resist a hypothetical French invasion of Ireland. Las, it never happened and the Irish people were still suffering for a century before gaining independence. There is still a massive and martial place but hot inside. The kitchen is roborative and pleasant and the service is good aloi. A good step between Dublin and the Connemara. View all feedback.
