What User doesn't like about Sheraton Athlone:
It's a nice hotel but nothing spectacular. Dinner in the hotel was limited . Breakfast is a free for all with cross contamination everywhere. Rooms are nice however I'd prefer not to get poked walking around by a random pin . Rooms could also do with some sound proofing , I'd prefer not to hear movies being made at . View all feedback.
I marked down service due to delay replenishing the breakfast buffet, otherwise service was excellent and staff are very pleasant.
I have been to The Sheraton Hotel in Athlone twice in the past 2 months and I honestly wish I could give more stars!! First of all in August 2023, they catered to my cousin's Hen party (40 ladies and fulfilled all requests to a tee! It was so lovely to take the stress away and have a good team working behind the scenes. Additionally, myself and some colleagues organised a charity cycle on the 07 09 2023 (50 participants and I would love to personally thank Mairead Moroney who was an absolute lady and pleasure to deal with; extremely efficient and professionally to her core. Good quality rooms with great breakfast, well located close to town centre and rail bus station.
Forgot some shirts after a work conference and the staff were great about getting them back to me.
