Robs Ranch House - Athlone

The food was GREAT. My husband had one of their burgers and said it was the best he’s had here in Ireland since we arrived in May. The biggest downside however was the service. It’s very ironic how this place is an American style restaurant, in America the wait staff get paid by tips not hourly, this is why they are always SO friendly and always at your table checking in on you. This deff isn’t the case with this place. The wait staff is very nice.. if they ever stop gossiping and actually come to your table to take your order.

The food is lovely staff are excellent I’ve just one suggestion because it’s happened more than once is that you heat the plates the food is served on as I’ve gotten your filled Yorkshire and both time the bottom was stone cold as the plate was freezing

Well worth a visit if you like burgers and grilled foods. The Wild West styled interior and staff in cowboy hats looked the part and created a good atmosphere. Portion sizes good and food very tasty.
