i stayed in the hodson bay hotel last friday and saturday night. food was lovely and bedroom clean. hotel staff very helpful and spa was a joy to use. i would just like to send a big thankyou to your manager,, michael dolan,, could not off been more helpful, i used to work in the hotel about years ago. so was nice to see a familar face still working there. What User doesn't like about Hodson Bay:
the hotel is wonderful, the location is a natural paradise instead of the service is lousy. We're in a tourist area and you don't mind giving you basic information. I put our example: we want to have dinner, we go to the hotel restaurant and ask if you have a reservation that we didn't know we had to make one. We have a reservation but it's an hour later, so we decided to get into the bar and order something to drink... View all feedback.

The staff and hotel is truly a wonderful stay I would.highly.recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with a nice view of the bay. The bed was comfy and we had a nice view of the bay. The there was a warm atmosphere in the bar and the bar and waiting staff were very nice, although service was a tad slow. We did the complementary wine and cheese tasting which was great fun, the wine guy was very personable and knowledgable. Nice setting for the tasting also. One suggestion for improving the overall experience have more lunch options available as there was only carvery and pre made wraps /sandwiches when we visited. Overall ann excellent experience.
It was so nice and I would definitely recommend coming here around the Christmas
Bit pricey but very nice comfortable stay.nice size rooms with large tv
