Was Anonym at Athgarvan Inn a mag?
Heard great things in work about The Athgarvan Inn’s food, so we decided to head there this evening. What a gem! Totally Covid compliant. Certs checked and phone number taken. Staff are lovely and friendly. Decor is fab. We opted for Cod and Chips and Steak Ciabatta and Chips. Sooo delicious!! Really good portion sizes too. It was our first time, but we will deffo be back! Didn’t even bother going to this place for dinner as when I googled their menu there was not one vegetarian option on the main courses meal. Very disappointing in this day and age and their page states they are “vegetarian friendly” would like to see...this change and there be 3-4 vegetarian options so I could try them out as they are local to me… View all feedback.
Great place for an evening or Sunday meal. eating is beautiful and it is combined with beautiful decor, good service and friendly / helpful staff. worth a visit.
They called today to ask a table for a large group of 11; they said they don't take bookings, but would take care of us. I called back to say that we are running late and asked if two more people could be added to the table and. they said it was pretty busy, but they would keep tables for us. then and not even 5 minutes after, we sat. the staff was so attentive and very friendly, and although they were so busy, nothing was rushed and eating was amazing.
This is a beautiful place to enjoy a bite. eating was very good and well presented. the bar was very busy, so a good atmosphere, service was first class. we will return.
Great family run pub, great food cracking atmosphere would highly recommend
