Nestled in the heart of the community, this pub offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, featuring friendly staff and quick service. While the food experience is a mixed bag—encompassing everything from beautifully presented fish and chips to overcooked roasted dishes—the majority of diners leave with positive impressions. Special occasions, like birthdays, are celebrated with thoughtful touches, adding to the charm. It caters well to families and a slightly older crowd, though younger patrons may seek livelier spots. We celebrated New Year's Eve here for my partner’s birthday, and the atmosphere was great. The DJ was fantastic, and the service was really friendly. They even decorated our table with balloons and a banner for my partner's birthday, and it looked beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff was very attentive and helpful. However, I wasn't impressed with the food. The roasted dishes seemed overcooked and were way too crispy for my taste. I also prefer sandwiches with butter, which I found lacking. I would come back for a drink, but not for a meal.
Medium age pub for the younger age group probably not for them was definitiw a 30-year environment as well as a family setting would suggest there was an attempt to give but was not for me if I had a family I would go back definitiw or if I were older, this would be definitiw the pub for me. but in my old (20) there are definitely better pubs/bars. but I can't blame this pub.
This place has its ups and downs when it comes to food, but overall, it's mostly positive. The staff is friendly, but the restrooms could use some better maintenance for a family-friendly pub.
