I'm giving this a 5, but u have to understand what it is. It's a little old dinner that serves fresh breakfast made right behind the counter. Nice sweet service. Really fresh food. I asked for no oil or butter and they totally did that really well. I would absolutely come here again.This place is old school so be ready to step back in time and have a really good breakfast. Loved this place! I didn’t know grits could actually taste good. Eggs were great and the country ham was super salty (like it’s supposed to be).

Used to go there as a teen, twice a day, school schedule permitting. Always ordered an entree with 2 sides, each visit. Couldn't get enough. God I loved that place! Need to stop in when I visit Athens.
Love the Mayflower since I was a student at UGA I’m the 80s! Same great family runs the operation.
Best food in Athens! A customer over 20 years and still the best!
