Best Greek food I've tried in Ohio so far! My experience with Firdous was amazing! The food was delicious and fresh! The place is always clean and I love their cups no straw needed . The service could improve, but I guess they're just college students after all. I definitely don't expect top service for an express restaurant. I'd happily drive the 59 miles again sometime soon! My family and I dined here for the first time today, and we absolutely loved it! Even my young child enjoyed everything he tasted. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were so unique. I highly recommend the Zilantro-Calchummus; it was out of this world. We will definitely be coming back!
The food is fantastic and it's easy to get your meal quickly. Make sure to try the Greek fries; you definitely won't regret it!
I absolutely love this place! Whenever I'm on the hunt for a healthy meal that's both satisfying and affordable, this is my go-to spot. The portion sizes are incredible and consistent, unlike some other places like Chipotle. The proteins are fantastic, and there are plenty of vegetables to keep you full all day long. Plus, the Baklava is simply exceptional!
Honestly, this is some of the best chicken shawarma I've ever tasted. Everything is incredibly fresh, and the house sauce is fantastic. I highly recommend it!
The food is generally good, but there are some issues. Let me start with the positives: I really appreciate the vegan and gluten-free options available. The pita bread is inexpensive and delicious, and the atmosphere is casual. The falafel is definitely authentic and seems to be deep-fried, which adds to its appeal. This place isn't part of a chain, so if you're looking to avoid places like Pita Pit, this is a solid Mediterranean option on Hofstraße. Now, for the not-so-great aspects: most of the containers are compostable, which is nice, and they offer an option on the website to skip silverware, but my pita still came wrapped in plastic, and the carry-out bag was plastic as well. The hummus dish was quite pricey — $12 for a small serving, plus an extra $3 for falafel and another dollar for pita. I wish they offered smaller portions for the fries. While I can say they are $5 fries, they could be served in smaller quantities because they were a bit overwhelming. Now, on to the negatives: the hummus itself was quite bland. I’m not sure if this is the traditional Mediterranean consistency, but it tasted very watered down. There was also a strange flavor in the falafel that didn't quite mesh well with the other components. The fries ended up being soggy because of the takeout packaging. In summary, it's not terrible. If you eat meat, it might be a better experience for you. If I come back, I'd likely choose something other than the bowls. P.S.: I did enjoy the fries — they reminded me of carnival fries!
