Sol Island And Grill - Athens

Make sure when you visit Sol Island Bar and Grill you ask for the veg menu! While they have many customizable options on their regular menu, your mind will be blown by the vast array of vegan and vegetarian options on their veg menu. We got two of their vegan mac and cheezes and both were delicious!

Menu has many options you 're not likely to find anywhere else in the area, such as plantains and tamales. Also has several build your own options for tacos, bowls, pasta, and burritos which you can choose tofu and/or veggies to make vegan. Personal favorites include the avocado salad, tofu bowl, and burrito with tofu. Love the local Shagbark tortilla chips and the house-made fresh salsas! Great place to grab a drink and good food with friends.

This establishment is the absolute worst when it comes to service. The workers don’t care about the guests, have no personality and simply are here for money and no work. the amount of times my food has come out cold, wrong or the complete wrong item is absolutely unacceptable. there is never a manger to talk to, so i’m sure they couldn’t care less either. Sol needs new employees and management

I like that they have vegan options on the menu such as the glazed tofu fajitas and the vegan mac and cheese. unfortunately though I've went here twice and the tofu fajitas were decent but a bit pricey for the portion that you get, and the vegan mac and cheese was literally awful it tasted like mustard and it was just terrible both times that we went.

I hope you have time to spare... We waited for over an hour for our meal. It took 35 minutes just to receive our drinks, and we placed our entire order at once. The waitress was trying her best, but she was the only one working. We decided to leave before our food arrived, paid for our drinks, left a tip for the waitress, and departed. We were very disappointed in the owners/managers for allowing this situation to happen.
