It is recommended that the restaurant improve its communication of vegan menu options.
The restaurant still offers a good selection of vegan options. The menu changes daily, but there are consistently a variety of choices available. Some examples of vegan dishes include butter beans in tomato and herbs, baked aubergine with onion and tomato, and chickpeas with dill. There are also plenty of vegetarian options such as leek fritters, salads, aubergine and tomato pasta (with cheese, but can be made vegan upon request).
It used to be very good but maybe because of the lock down they don't invest that much in quality ingredients anymore. The gemista I've eaten there the last time was terrible (it also had cheese on top which I had to remove, I've never came across a gemista recipe before that said to sprinkle grated cheese on top of the veggies) cheese , the fava was average. Nevertheless, at least they have these two traditional vegan options if someone is around and really gets hungry.
As a regular restaurant, it’s a good choice. The food is enjoyable, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is cozy, but the vegetarian options are limited. The vegan options are basically non-existent.
