Dan's bar has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. While it is cash only, the bartender kindly directed customers to an ATM. Breakfast is highly recommended, and the drinks are cheap. Visitors found the experience very enjoyable, with some even receiving free drinks from the owner. The food is fantastic, especially the chicken curry. Despite only accepting cash, the warmth and hospitality of Dan's bar make it a must-visit in Athenry, Ireland.

Lovely pub and great food . Nice atmosphere too.
It might have been the time of day but I am 53 and I felt like the youngest person there by far. It is a nice pub and I will return. The Guinness was good and the food was good. A worthwhile stop. The bartender and the chef were very friendly and welcoming.
