Mountain Mike's Pizza - Atascadero

This place has the best pizza I have ever tasted. Definitely ordering here over and over. I?m hooked on their pepperoni!!!!

We found ourselves traveling to the Bay area and stopped in Atascadero to take a bathroom break and found ourselves at Mountain Mike's Pizza, not intending to order any food, but the staff was super friendly when we came in and the aroma coming from the kitchen was amazing. We loomed at a menu and decided to order a medium Bacon deluxe pizza (I think that is the right name). WOW!!!! It has green onions on it, which I have never tried before on pizza, and it gives it a greatkick in the taste buds! We ended up relaxing inside for about 90 minutes and watching the 3 big screens they have, all with different games on them. I would DEFINITELY recommend stopping by to experience the food and atmosphere. I onlywish we had Mountain Mike's Pizza in my home town!!

So as a long time lover of Mountain Mike's pizza where we used to live, I was excited to hear that Mountain Mike's was coming to south county Atascadero. I have been eating Mountain Mike's pizza for 30+ years and since moving to south county, have had to settle for Round Table, not bad pizza, but not the best either... tonight we ordered a large combo, plenty of pepperoni, sausage, cheese, lenguisa, and other toppings... and I mean it was full. I have got to say folks...this was the best pizza I've had in a LONG time. Yes we have visited the surrounding pizza joints, but Mountain Mike's just blows the others out of the water once again. This new pizza place has regained a big fan of Mountain Mike's andcan't wait to go back. You will not be disappointed!!! Also has a good beer selection and a salad bar that is fresh. We wanted to like it and have been excited to try it but our first experience was pretty much a flop. The pizza took about 45 minutes to get and there weren?t really any people there when we ordered. Once we got the pizza at our table it was not even hot. Our kids put a ton of Parmesan on their pizza before realizing there was a dead fly in the shaker. They took 3 other parm shakers off the tables around us that all had flies in them. We spent about $10 on this game in thepicture and my son was going for the major prize but never made it there. With his last .50¢ he settled with the minor prize? which never was given from the machine. When we told the kids working they shrugged their shoulders and told usnothing they could do. Didn?t even try to make it right. Overall I would rather go to round table, better pizza and games that will actually give out prizes.

????The place is super busy and lively! Lot's of seating to choose from if you decide to stay and eat in the restaurant with a good choice salad bar. The pizza is loaded and they don't skimp on toppings! There are Gourmet and Traditional Pizzas ????and The chicken wings were crispy and flavorful????. My husband enjoyed the tap beer ????Will definitely return
