Byblos Mediterranean Grill - Atascadero

The sandwiches here are fantastic, and they offer clearly labeled vegan options. I would recommend this place to anyone in town looking for a quick bite of Mediterranean food. As for the atmosphere, it's not really a spot you'd want to linger in just for the ambiance, but it's comfortable enough for a lunch. They have both vegetarian and vegan options available.

To bad…the taste of the food was amazing but the chicken shawarma plate and beef shawarma plate I believe used to come with rice, I opened my “meal” to reveal that I just paid 16 bucks for a some beef and a dollop of hummus. No tomatoes, a couple pieces of lettuce. A couple small grilled onions and half a tahini sauce. I asked for a couple hot sauces and he reluctantly gave me one. Sucks to suck. We won’t be back

Awful experience. The spanakopita was deep-fried, and the owner would not issue a refund for my purchase.

We decided to stop here on a whim after a long day of traveling, simply looking for a place to eat. We had no idea it would turn out to be one of the best meals of our trip (and we enjoyed some fantastic food in the area!). I ordered the chicken shawarma and baklava, and both dishes were absolutely amazing.

Great food, great service. And the location is perfect near the rest of the little shops in A-town. Tried dolmas for the first time and they were pretty good! Best hummus I have tasted so far.
