Arrived here on a busy Sunday. It was pandemonium. Stood apparently invisible at the door while staff rushed around. Two other groups arrived to clog the doorway further, noise was unbearable. Finally was seated by owner outside as we had requested by our phone reservation. A bit quieter mercifully. I was all for going elsewhere after such a disorganised and frantic start. Glad we didn't.A charming and delightful server Estephania (sorry for any mispelling) brought calm to the table as she serenely took our order and attended to us smiling throughout. Our dishes of Duck and Pork were delicioius as was our wonderfully chilled beers which accompanied them. No views unfortunately, which would have been the icing on the cake, however, nevertheless still recommended, although perhaps not on a Sunday!

We ate in a large group and although the starters and salads were excellent and my own vegetarian option was good, many others chose the solomillo (pork), which was tough. However, it's a pleasant restaurant and the staff are very friendly.

The owners of this fabulous restaurant are friends of ours we've been visiting the pueblo, where this restaurant is located, for over 20 years and, we've had our own little casa in the village for some 15 years now the food at the Audalazar is, to us, unbeatable whether a main meal, the menu del dia or a few tapas totally delicious. The team in the restaurant know what they're doing it's a friendly atmosphere incredibly reasonable and very well attended.
