Starbucks - Astoria

This location was spacious and clean. Our barista was courteous and friendly. Drinks didn't take too long. It's all you can ask from a Starbucks ????

If you're looking for a Starbucks location that will make your drinks right, is fast, and be well kept this is your spot. If you are here to try to get work done, best go somewhere else. The music is played at crazy levels here for what is typical at Starbucks. I could feel the bass vibrations on my laptop keyboard.

Stopped by to grab a mobile order. Didn?t catch his name, but it was a new hire I believe making the order. He was quick and did a great job with the order! I definitely don?t think I?d be able to keep up as well as he did with the foot traffic at this location. Quick comment to the person who was training him (on 5/17, around 3:30pm perception is everything. I?ll leave it at that :

Trust me when I say go anywhere but here first of all these people just don?t know how to make coffee, Every time I get an iced espresso they put the ice and then run the hot espresso over the ice which waters it down to the point where it literally just taste like I?m drinking coffee flavored water. every time I order from here I always specify that I want the ice put last but no matter how many times I specify or ask they still always make it the wrong way. Coming from a barista of seven years that is not how you make coffee. God forbid you even correct them you just get the worst attitude ever. Specifically today I corrected the barista who is making the coffee incorrectly and told him to remake it because I did not want my coffee water down he proceeded to try and still serve me the coffee I just complained about. Terrible terrible terrible service. Starbucks please if you guys are gonna be charging a lot of money for a coffee then you should train your employees to understand and know how to make a proper coffee. Also keep in mind when you?re ordering an espresso it?s because you want a strong coffee if I wanted a water down drink I would?ve ordered a regular coffee

What is up with the opening and closing times? It?s been twice that I tried to go in and it was closed 8am on a Monday morning? There?s definitely something going on, I did see someone behind the counter but the door had the closed sign, twice.
