I loved this place! Just stop a few subways and I was transported all over the world. My first time to try Afghan food, but there are some similarities to Uzbek food. Had a mixed kebab, aubergines and hummus and it was all delicious! The kebab was very delicate and well seasoned. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming and the service was excellent. What User doesn't like about Sami's Kabab House:
I think they need to use better quality meat was chewy Tough) chicken need to be fresher!! Rice was tasty and super oily! Appetizers meat dough was good but on cold side. Experience was not what reviews indicated 4.6. View all feedback.
Everything was incredible, particularly the rice and Afghan Salad.
Everything there is amazing, but the Bolani Kachalu the Chicken Afghani Kabab have quickly become my favorite. Hard to not order it every week.
So delicious, the Chicken Afghani Kabab was amazing, tender and the seasoning was so delicious!
Lamb Kabab was very dry not tender at all. It also had a smell to it so probably not fresh meat. The rice was delicious though.
Heavenly Uzbeki Qabuli Pulao, the most athentic Lamb Shank in NY I have eaten so far! 10/10 loved it!!!
